Sunday Breakfast

I woke up early on Sunday, just as the sun hit my blinds. With a cup of coffee and breakfast in hand, I sat by the window and dove into many lovely stories in the Kinfolk Magazine. There's just something about Sunday breakfast that I love, and of course the whole "easy Sunday morning" aspect of it all.

Other things I loved about that morning:
The speckled morning sunlight that fought through the shadows of our mango tree dancing across my table.
The slight chill in the air that brushed against my warm skin.
A stray cat that jumped on the window sill.
Silence.
A few signs that fall is finally starting to find its way down to Florida, including that chilly breeze.

Sunday mornings are beginning to be my favorite time of the week. When is your favorite?

  3. I love Sunday mornings too. The ones where you don't have to do anything and you are just free to relax in your pjs while you enjoy breakfast and coffee. Those are the best!

  4. I think Saturdays are my favorite for many of those quiet, peaceful reasons... and good, big breakfasts with my little family all together. That bagel and coffee looks so good!

  6. I love Kinfolk so much. But I went to go pick up the latest issue (I know, I'm slow) and the only stockist in my city had sold out.

Sunday mornings are definitely my favourite mornings. They are the best for relaxing and reflecting.

  11. Sunday breakfast's used to be my favorite thing, but now since I work every Sunday morning, I'm always in a rush. But... my dreary Mondays are made a little better when I start class late in the day, and am able to sit at home alone and make a nice, nutritious breakfast, with coffee in hand of course.

    1. I love afternoon classes that give me a chance to just relax a bit before, rather than rushing in the morning.

  17. Oh, I've never heard of Kinfolk! I'm pretty sure that it's not a commonly stocked magazine here in Australia. Will have to check it out. Just discovered your blog by the way... beautiful!
