008 // Sunday Breakfast

Breakfast is easily the most relaxing meal of the day. Many breakfast foods don't take much effort and can be put together really fast, which works well for lazy sunday mornings.

This morning's meal, was no different: warm toast, grape jelly and a hot cup of coffee.

Grape jelly and toast always brings me back to my childhood. Back when I was rushed in the morning to get up and get out the door for school. My parents always let me sleep in until the very last minute, which was so thoughtful of them, but that meant breakfast would be on the go.

I still find myself making it for breakfast 15 years later. Sometimes when I need a quick meal before heading out to work, or for mornings like today, just for nostalgia.

    These pics perfectly captured hte feel of your breakfast...they look so peaceful, warm, cozy, and homey! I feel the same way about a good breakfast, it can bring back really amazing memories :)

    I've actually never had breakfast in bed. I'm afraid I'd spill things everywhere. I can be super clumsy with food. Haha. Looks like a lovely breakfast you had though. :)
