I am an HTML newbie. So when I set off to give my blog a new makeover, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. But after a few hours, give or take a day or two... I finally completed my blog's redesign and started a Facebook Page (please like!). I think this calls "pho" a bowl of pho to celebrate!
At my home, we normally make homemade pho when we have guests come over or during quiet weekends. This was one of those kinds of weekends. It may seem kind of topsy turvy having hot noodle soup on days that exceed 85 degrees, but the lime and veggies make it refreshing. But then again, it's always refreshing to have homemade food, especially with all the love that's put into making it... 2 days actually. My dad makes the broth the day before and let's it cool overnight to let the flavors settle. The next day it's all about making the meat tender and adding more flavor, and feasting of course.
