Road Trip Day 6

It's a bit unfortunate that I didn't take many pictures in St. Augustine. The architecture of the buildings, homes and town was so pretty. I was just too busy fanning myself and trying not to faint while we were walking downtown and through the Castillo de San Marcos. It was so hot and humid...

This fort was build before the 1700s when the Spanish first came to America. So much history there and in the city. It boggles my mind how long ago that was. Then I think about the ancient civilizations that lived way before America was even discovered. So much has changed since then.

We did a lot of touristy things here including a ghost pub tour. When you're exploring the oldest city in the nation, you've got to hear some stories of the ghosts that haunt where you party. It was really interesting and we even got a picture of a ghost in the bathroom! Or so we think.

  2. I love this place. So many cool little shops across the street too. I used to live in Jax and when we skipped school this was always a fave destination. I mean when we had a day off. :)
