{I love how this rope makes it look like these two boats are separate pictures}
A evening stroll along the waterside took me passed this marina. It's home to hundreds of sailboats and I just couldn't help thinking about how I've never been on one. I wonder how difficult, or easy, it is to take these babies out and around the bay. In St. Pete, there are places to charter sailboats. How fun would it be to go on a weekend getaway on one? Just you, the open seas and a fantastic water view. Maybe one day.
Gorgeous photos!! last year my youngest and I headed over to Tampa for the weekend and stayed on the Bay - I took a ton of pics. It made me want a house boat. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are such gorgeous photos! To me, there's nothing more calming than the ocean. I'd spend every day of my life on the coast, if I could!

Sailing sort of terrifies me, and I'm sorry to say that, as I dream of being an able-bodied sailor and knowing how to man a sailboat. This has been something my husband and I talked about since we started dating, so we'd love to learn one day. One day, someday!
ReplyDeletegreat pics! this looks so nice in pictures but i get terribly sick on boats so i'm not sure how i feel about them, HA.
ReplyDeleteso beautiful. I love the ocean, and sailboats. You should definitely go on a weekend getaway! Or even a few hours, that's what we sometimes do!
