A healthy snack made with 3 ingredients: Granny smith apples (sliced thin using a mandoline or a sharp knife), a pinch of brown sugar and cinnamon. Bake for about an hour at 200 degrees F until they’re crispy.
**This was my first time using a mandoline,
and I am in love. I want to slice everything with it.
I've been wanting to make my own apple chips–I love all the store-bought ones I've tried!

Mandolins terrify me after a friend sliced off a chunk of her finger and had to go to the ER! I think I could convince my husband to slice up the apples for me though :-)
ReplyDeleteOUCH! oh my goodness! Don't tell me! I'll definitely have to be careful with that slicer!
DeleteThis looks too yummy...I'm going to try it this weekend since I have a bunch of apples in my fridge :)
