Love More

long distance quotes

Distance is just a test of how far love can travel

long distance quotes

I thought I'd share some long distance quotes while continuing to expand on my earlier Smitten post; share some quotes, a little story and encourage us to love more. Let me know if you'd like to feature a story!

Yesterday I received a love note in the mail from Joshua. Even though it was a simple letter, my man of a few words, it made my heart flutter. But we are still in the Abyss, aka living miles apart and not knowing when we will see each other again. That's the hard part. There's no counting down the days until we'll see each other again. But on the plus side, we're learning to compromise, getting creative with our date nights and getting over the "comfortable stage". All we know is our time together is never enough and that this will all work out in the end.

Anyone else in a long distance relationship and have some advice, or want to vent with me about how it kind of sucks or share the great things about it?

  2. lovely quotes and pictures! i've had similar experience...letters are are still the sweetest thing to receive...although there is Skype, email, etc...written letters are still the best. i also had a couple of friends who rented the same movies and made a movie date night and watched it at the same time. :) have fun with it and good luck!

    1. Thank you for that suggestion, I'll have to try that! & You're right about the written letters! There's something lovely about taking the extra effort and time to write a thoughtful letter. I also really love things done the old fashioned way :)

  3. I'm in a long distance relationship- we lived together for 5 years, and now he's in India and i'm in Germany. Although we hope to see each other every couple months, it is SOOOO hard to be apart. Especially since I have no idea when the long distance will come to an end. But, I know that if it's meant to be, it will be. If not, we'll both take separate paths. Only time will tell, i suppose. keep your chin up.

    1. Wow, I only live a few hours away from my boyfriend, and it's already a struggle. I can't imagine how it must be to live in two entirely different countries! I hope for the best for you and your man.
