Happy Friday!
I'll be busy packing this weekend for a weeklong adventure with Joshua and some old friends. Starting early Monday morning, we'll be making our way towards Tennessee for a few days... then to Charleston and finally to St. Augustine. We have so much planned for the trip, but nothing planned for the ride there. What will we be doing for 12 hours... who knows? But before we hit the road, here are a few tips to remember:
1. You're stuck in the car for a really long time, use the bathroom before you leave the house!
2. Make sure to wear comfortable clothes, picking wedgies and loss of circulation is not fun guys!
3. Bring a backpack and pack things you'll need for the ride. Nothing's worse than having to dig through your luggage or the trunk for your iPod or a magazine. Except maybe stopping every 5 minutes for the bathroom.
4. Disney songs are essential on the playlist.
What are some things you like to do on long trips to pass the time? We may need your ideas!
Love the sandals. and the color combo is PERFECT. On long trips, I love blasting music while on the freeway and singing like an idiot with my friends. If I'm not the driver, reading a book to pass the time is perfect - unless you get carsick! have fun!

Lovely! Have a great weekend and a great road trip. I have a dream that I and Sigurd will do one on the entire east coast one day.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Anna! That sounds so fun! I love adventures and traveling! I hope you both will have the chance to do that soon.
DeleteBlasting 80's classics is a MUST on a road trip. Singing along to them at the top of your lungs, however, is optional, but recommended.
