The
Florida State Fair is in town! We stopped by Saturday afternoon;
it was my first time going since high school probably 7 years ago. I was fearless about fair rides then. But now, I'm more hesitant about riding them and opted to just explore the fair grounds instead. It’s a lot
bigger now than I remembered it being and has a lot more animals (a baby giraffe
and a black bear?) It was random and cool. We walked a lot, enjoyed the attractions
(not the rides) and shared a red velvet funnel cake. Yes... I caved on the
greasy fried fair food, but it was red velvet...

OH!!
ReplyDeleteFlorida is actually my home. Tampa to be exact and I always loved the FL state fair. This definitely brings back memories of getting days of school for "fair days"
so fun!
