I was re-reading some Kinfolk essays and one told me to stay
in bed, so I did.

I made a fresh batch of honey granola to last the week. I hope.

Joshua got me an iPad for my birthday so I’ve been catching
up on some shows on Hulu. Anyone watch Cult? (I also had to get a
Joshua-approved iPad case because he knows my butter fingerish ways. And since I broke 2 things over the weekend just hours apart, I am glad I listened) |

I am happy to say my air plants are still alive.

I stayed in most of the weekend, mostly because it was
freezing and 20 degrees way below normal
temperatures. Each morning started off gray and then slowly the clouds dissipated
as the sun made its late appearance. Mornings like that make the day feel
longer doesn’t it? Even though I woke up at 8 (usually the sun is shining through
my windows at this point) I felt like I woke up at 6 with how dark it was. It’s
unfortunate though that the cooler temperatures won’t stay around for much
longer. I really liked having an excuse to wear my coats and fuzzy socks.
