My week in instagram photos among other things.

iiiiitt's Friday! :)

I hope you all had a lovely week. I don't know about you, but I thought we were never going to make it to Friday! My week went by so slowly and I can bet that the weekend will be over in a blink of an eye with all of the things I have planned.

These photos, most of them from my 365 project, highlight some tidbits of my week. I got my hair cut as I mentioned earlier, donated it to Locks of Love, had a couple clumsy mishaps, saw blooming buds on the first day of spring, and cuddled up in bed with a fluffy cat and some tea and a good read.

Things I loved this week:
This Justin Timberlake skit (I’m late, but JT is the best)
This picnic photo because I’m ready for the outdoors and picnics every weekend.
Layering picture frames, I need to get more prints for my bare walls.
How do I teach my cat to do this??

You can follow my 365 Project with #milynns365 on Instagram or Twitter. Let’s be friends over there!

Well... Hello October!

September left as quickly as it came. So to bid it farewell, here's a quick look at some September snapshots from my photo diary, otherwise known as Instagram. It's funny to me that I think September just blew through, but when I was looking back at these pictures, it feels like I took them so long ago, like it didn't even happen this month. But now October is here and I’m looking forward to Halloween festivities, visiting my sorority sisters (as an alumni for the first time) and whatever else happens to fall on my calendar, after all, spontaneous happenings are always a good time.

Sunset Above Ground

Traveling to Miami this weekend was so worth it. I got to see Joshua, met some of his hometown friends (after nearly 4 years, finally!) and explore a new city. So nice to get away from the chaos that is work and monotony of being at home. Then to top off my weekend, I watched the glorious sun set from thousands of feet above ground. Our earth is so beautiful, isn't it?

More photos to come. How was your Labor Day weekend?

Tidbits

Sharing tapas at Cafe Alma with Joshua, afternoon drives over the Skyway Bridge, rainbow views all the way to work, Misa lounging near me during dinner and new running shoes. That pretty much rounds up this past week.

So glad it's Friday! This weekend I'm looking forward to watching the Dark Knight, spending time with old friends and continuing the Sunday brunch tradition. I guess with my new highlighter pink shoes, there will also be lots of running in my future. Hopefully.

What are your weekend plans?

Life on the Go

Sadly, Joshua had to go home today and we have to part ways again for while. Maybe we'll see each other again in a few weeks... maybe longer, kinda the sucky part of long distance. But I'm so glad we got to spend some time together. Here's quick roundup of my on the go pictures from our week.

... it was indeed filled with lots of eating and exploring. Follow me on Instagram @ meowlynn for my other adventures between blog posts!

** PS. That last picture on the bottom left was the set for the strip club in Magic Mike! We found it on accident while stopping for some frozen yogurt.

My weekend on the go

Joshua and I hopped on a plane on Friday and made our way to Atlanta for a couple days. It was a nice change from our usual weekend of staying in, or staying apart, and being able to travel again with one another. Here's a few photos from our trip. More to come!

My Weekend... On the Go

This weekend has been quite eventful. I was always going somewhere with someone new everyday. The best part of my weekend was hosting lovely visitors from out of town. It was great to be able to catch up with the people I spent most of my days with in college. I never knew at the time how much I would miss them until I moved out. Now I'm so glad I was able to see them again and give them a quick tour. At the same time, I was doing things I never did in town either. Actually... everything I did this weekend was something I never did before... even though I live here.

I started off this weekend going to the Tampa Bay Lightning game. It was my first hockey game, thank goodness we won! Go Bolts!

Found a tortoise while going to see live alligators.

On Sunday I got to tour my family (Jeannie, Brittany and Isabel) around downtown St. Pete. It was our first time at Le Macaron and their first time eating them. It was so delicious we visited a second time.

Life on the Go

I have been harboring a lot of pictures on my phone. So I complied some of my favorites here. Things ranging from Joshua using a nail filer for the first time and giving me a french tip manicure:: Emily bonding with Benji...and Benji bonding with Polar bear:: My mom "graduating" from UCF:: Beautiful helical staircase at the Dali Museum and a view of the Pier from inside:: Misa and her bed, she is always there sleeping in weird positions:: New year at the Thai Temple in Tampa with my line sisters!

Life on the go

The dish here is a lao noodle soup called Sukiyaki. It is made with broth and cellophane noodles. Add in herbs, bell sprouts, cabbage and strips of beef, and you are good to go!
Nothing like driving home with my whole apartment packed in my tiny coupe, coming home to sleepy kitties and eating home cooked meals.

Life on the go

Some photos I took while out and about with my iPhone.

Mini pumpkins sold at the pumpkin patch

Cute kitty that I cat-sat for my little sister.

Who we later found out was an evil cat. Not really, but she was very playful!

Spirit Splash, a famous tradition at UCF that occurs during Homecoming Week.
Everyone is allowed to rush into the Reflection Pond and splash around. It's
the only time we can set foot in that water.
